Our technology allows custom development of highly secure authentication and identity solutions especially in the enterprise and the government verticals. Below are typical enterprise use cases that we are already familiar with. In case you cannot find the use case you are looking for please don't hesitate to ask!
POS Customer On-boarding
Today, all of the on-boarding data acquisition steps can be executed on a single mobile device either by a client herself or with a help of a bank employee/agent. Verifying and asserting the client’s identity, and executing the eIDAS equivalent of a handwritten signature to obtain the proof-of-intent is the last missing piece of the puzzle for successful 100% digital on-boarding. Crayonic solution can be used to address this in all environments. While during the face-to-face on-boarding, the required identity check can be performed in-person and the trusted qualified signature signature can be issued using bank employee, in remote scenarios the identity check can be executed using via video conference.
Mobile Originated Transactions According to PSD2
Creating secure client authentication (SCA) on mobile devices will require financial institutions to use at least 2 factors to initiate transaction e.g. combination of biometrics and password or token and password. Crayonic Pen can be issued as hyper secure token after the successful on-boarding process of a new client. This is the most secure choice today for mobile devices, since Crayonic Pen verifies the identity of a person “signing-in” using secure behavioural biometric authentication which can not be easily copied or spoofed like fingerprints, iris or face scans. And since the pen
authenticates its owner internally, it also mitigates a need for the password or PIN code. User can literally sign away all of the financial transactions on the mobile device without any additional authentication hassle.
The enterprises often require trusted (e.g. notarised) signatures to be executed by the institution signatories or their commercial partners. These signatures often require maximum level of regulatory compliance with the strict signature standards and thus may not allow SaaS or even digitised biometric signatures. If QES digital signature is required, the Crayonic solution offers not only full compliance but also an easy execution of secure signature on an unsecured BYOD
mobile device wherever the signatory(s) might be.
Strong Authentication According to FIDO Standards
Crayonic Pen can be used to secure the access to online resources using the newest industry standards such as Universal Authentication Factor (UAF) and Universal Second Factor (U2F) as defined by FIDO Alliance. These standards allow creation of online services compatible with a wide range of authentication tokens available on the market already.
